It is also an active promoter of international financial centers, technology industries and advanced manufacturing industries. An important mission for the people from Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area is to work on how to incubate Guangdong—Hong Kong—Macao's own start-ups and promote them to the world, contributing to the long prosperity and stability of Hong Kong as well as the construction and development of the Greater Bay Area.

Greater Bay Young Entrepreneurs Association was initiated by AMTD, a leading fully-licensed comprehensive financial institution group rooted in Hong Kong and based in the Greater Bay Area, and was founded by the leading innovative enterprises in Greater Bay Area including Greater Bay Area Investment Group, iFLYTEK, Royole, DayDayCook, GOGOVAN, OneDegree, FinEx Asia, TNG and Farseer. With the objective of “taking advantage of the opportunities of the Greater Bay Area, enhancing interconnection and promoting innovative development” and the principle of “Innovation, Mutual assistance and Openness”, the association is committed to connecting domestic and overseas resources and channels, promoting start-ups of the Greater Bay Area to seize the opportunities, stimulating the healthy and rapid development, improving the core competitiveness and extend footprints globally, which would contribute to the prosperity and stability of Hong Kong as well as the construction and development of the Greater Bay Area.
